Sam Bennett is an active retail producer, speaker and consultant. He is also a former agency owner. A resident of Batesville, AR, he began his insurance career in 1987 and has been an Independent Insurance Agent from the beginning. During a career of nearly 40 years, he has advocated for individuals, families and small businesses. In this capacity, he has worked in personal lines, commercial lines, agribusiness and life and health markets. As a result of interacting with many types of clients, carriers, and coverage needs during both hard and soft markets, he has grown to understand and appreciate the many ways insurance professionals must endeavor to make life better for their clients. As a consultant, he works closely with agents and agencies with the goal of increasing their efficiency and insurance IQ. Sam is a National Faculty Member of the Risk and Insurance Education Alliance. He is a speaker in the Alliance’s CISR program and is both a speaker and Education Consultant in the Alliance’s CIC, CPRM and Ruble Graduate Seminar programs. He currently serves as Education Consultant for the state of Arkansas. Sam is also a National Faculty Member in IRMI’s Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) program and has spoken in their Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and Transportation Risk Insurance Professional (TRIP) programs. He is also a speaker in the AIMS Society’s Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) program. Sam has been called upon to offer insurance education in conferences and symposiums across the country over the past twenty plus years and has provided services to several law firms in the capacity of expert consultant.
