David Thompson

After receiving his college degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and serving eight years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard, David began his insurance career in a family-owned independent agency in Vero Beach, Florida where he was a licensed agent selling all types of insurance. In 1996 David accepted a training & education position with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents in Tallahassee, Florida (FAIA) where he presented continuing education seminars throughout the country on a variety of property and casualty insurance subjects. He has presented hundreds of seminars dealing with insurance agent Errors and Omission issues and uses a creative approach of involving defense attorneys and plaintiff attorneys on panel discussions. He most enjoys personal lines issues, flood insurance, business auto, and commercial property issues. In 2020 David retired as a full-time employee. He currently does insurance education and consulting for a variety of entities around the country. In addition to being a full-time insurance nerd, David is an avid runner and biker and smokes the best ribs, chicken, and pork in the country. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received between Feb 14th at 12:00 PM and Feb 21st at 11:59 AM will incur a $2.00 non-transferable fee.
Cancellations received after Feb 21st at 12:00 PM will incur a $5.00 non-transferable fee.
If you fail to show up for the class, your registration fee is forfeited. NO Exceptions. All cancellations must be in writing, emailed to frontdesk@pianeia.com. There is no penalty for substitutions from your company or agency. All credit card refunds will incur a $15 processing fee or minus the cancellation fee. All check payments will be refunded in full or minus the cancellation fee. All refund payments will be made via check payment.
